VAN MAHOTSAV 2020

“The key to a greener planet is in our hands.”

 During covid-19 pandemic, Sant Nirankari Public School, Govindpuri celebrated “Van Mahotsav” week in the first week of July and contribute towards our environment. It is an annual tree planting festival of India. It creates an enthusiasm in the mind of the populace for the conservation of forests and planting of trees.

To instil the value of social responsibility in the students and teachers towards sustaining greenery while remaining at home, various activities like tree plantation, poster making, slogan writing, poem recitation, organic farming etc. were performed and various medicinal plants like aloe vera, neem, tulsi, money plant and air purifier plants were planted and became an active member of GO GREEN drive.

“GO GREEN” by nurturing our environment. It is expected that every citizen of India should contribute towards the environment by planting a sapling in Van Mahotsav Week.
