National Science Day, 2019

Sant Nirankari Public School, Govindpuri celebrated National Science Day on 27th February 2019 to mark the discovery of Raman effect by Indian physicist Sir C.V. Raman by conducting a science exhibition in the school premises. The theme of the event was ‘Science for the people and the people for Science.’ Working models, experiments and charts were displayed and presented by the students to all the classes from I – VIII. The models were based on the topics such as solar system, rain water harvesting, plant and animal cell, electric circuit, germination of bean seed, volcanic eruption, resource management, etc. The students learnt a lot and it was a great enriching experience for them.
