73rd Independence Day and Rakshabandhan
On the occasion of Independence Day and Rakshabandhan, Sant Nirankari Public School, Govindpuri, celebrated the same with great enthusiasm and a feel of patriotism. The celebration started with Flag Hoisting Ceremony by our Respected Chairperson and Manager escorted by our H.M. The students marched enthusiastically to pay tribute to our National Flag and Great Martyrs of the Nation. This was followed by an Inter House Singing Competition. Students gave informative speech on the day and spread the message of love and respect on the occasion of Rakshabandhan too.
Furthermore, the celebration was extended by conducting an Inter-Class Poster Making and Slogan Writing Competition on different topics like ‘Van Mahotsav’, ‘Traffic on Delhi Roads’, ‘Balanced Diet’ and ‘Save Eco System’. The students very enthusiastically reflected their individual creative ideas. The students of Classes I-II were involved in Coloring, Tearing, Pasting and Thumb Printing on the various pictures of heritage sites in India under ‘My Nation-My Pride’.
The day ended up with Tree Plantation Drive in the School premises under the guidance of teachers.
