Inter School Solo and Group Singing Competition (2018-19)
A song can be more than words and music … when sung with soul a song carries you to another world, to a place where no matter how much pain you feel, you are never alone.
Sant Nirankari Public School, Govind Puri, Delhi, organized the Inter school Solo and Group Singing Competition for the students of classes I – XI from the various branches of SNPS on 28th December, 2018.
Making this day a memorable one, Mrs. Raman Manhas, Administrator, SNPS Schools was the Chief Guest of the Function. Mrs.Narinder Batra, Convenor, Function Committee, Mr. H. L Malik, Secretary, CMC, were the special Guests of Honour on this momentous occasion. The esteemed guests were accompanied by the deemed judges namely Mr. Vinod Sai, Dr. Namrata Hans Setia and Mr. Sunny.
The function was hosted by Local Member Committee and the Principal of SNPS, Govind puri.
The competition embarked on with Group A – Cartoon Casting Song, followed by Group B – Shabad (Hardev Vani), Group C – Folk Song and Group D – Solo Semi Classical Sufi Song. The judges gave their judgment on the basis of Song Selection, Presentation, Synchronization, Technique and Confidence. This Competition gave a motivation to the students to show their talent, build up their self-confidence and enhance their singing skills.
All the winners were endowed with certificates and trophies. The judges appreciated and applauded the students and praised the efforts of the teachers for conducting such a grand programme.
